Modular Movement for Automated Production Lines
Move, stop, position and route workpieces between manual and automated stations using a pallet conveyor system designed around your production process.
Orbital Mekatronik provides modular pallet transfer conveyor solutions for assembly lines, inspection stations, robotic cells, testing systems and special-purpose machines. Our range includes compact belt-driven transfers, chain pallet conveyors and heavy-load systems from Elcom.
We support OEMs, machine builders, system integrators and manufacturing plants with conveyor selection, layout planning and integration support across India and selected international markets.
Moving components manually between production stages can create inconsistent cycle times, unnecessary handling and work-in-progress delays. A properly designed pallet transfer system can help:
The correct system depends on the product, pallet, fixture, total moving load, process sequence, required positioning and available floor space.
Our portfolio includes Elcom TLM 1000, TR, TRM and TM transfer systems, essential conveyor modules, and custom product fixtures. Select a tab to explore details for each system.
The TLM 1000 is a compact modular transfer system for moving small workpieces between manual and automatic production stations. Two parallel belts move the workpiece pallets. Stops, indexing devices and direction-changing modules can be added according to the line sequence. Elcom identifies the TLM 1000 for loads up to 2 kg per pallet in its standard configuration, using 105 ร 105 mm or 105 ร 155 mm pallets.
Typical Applications
The TR system uses a robust modular architecture for moving workpieces mounted on dedicated pallets. Its construction makes it suitable for industrial environments where strength, configurability and easy line modification are important. Elcom specifies pallet loads up to 10 kg for standard TR configurations, subject to pallet size and system design.
Typical Applications
The TRM system is designed to transport heavier workpieces on larger frame pallets. Chain transmission and steel rollers support demanding industrial transfer requirements. Elcom publishes capacities up to 100 kg and pallet dimensions from 436 ร 436 mm to 836 ร 836 mm for the TRM range.
Typical Applications
The TM monorail transfer system is intended for heavy parts and demanding production areas. Its compact track arrangement can help maintain operator access around assembly and processing stations. Elcom states that the TM system can move parts weighing up to 300 kg, subject to application engineering and final system design.
Typical Applications
A complete pallet transfer system combines standard function modules to control workpiece movement. This includes pneumatic pallet stops, high-precision positioning & indexing units, accumulation buffers, 90ยฐ/180ยฐ lift-and-transfer units, and vertical lifts for multi-level return loops.
Typical Applications
The pallet carries a dedicated fixture designed around the workpiece. The fixture must locate the component securely without obstructing assembly, testing, inspection or robotic access. Fixture design accounts for product size, center of gravity, clamping, operator clearance, robot tool clearance, and rapid product changeover.
Typical Applications
Move products through pressing, fastening, component fitting, inspection and unloading operations in a controlled sequence.
Present workpieces to operators at a consistent position while creating an organised flow between assembly stages.
Stop and position pallets so a robot can load, unload, assemble or inspect components accurately.
Transport products through electrical testing, leak testing, dimensional inspection, vision inspection and final quality checks.
Transfer workpieces between machining, marking, washing, testing or special-purpose machines.
Handle small parts, control panels, switches, electronic modules and related products through controlled production stages.
Move automotive subassemblies such as pumps, motors, actuators, brake components and transmission parts between process stations.
Combine pallet identification with PLC or production software to route products, store process results and manage individual production sequences.
Conveyor selection should begin with the product and process flowโnot only the required conveyor length. A process-flow diagram and preliminary layout help identify whether a TLM 1000, TR, TRM, TM or another Elcom transfer configuration is appropriate. Our team considers:
For faster evaluation, share the product drawing, product and fixture weight, process sequence, station details, required cycle time, available layout, pallet quantity and automation requirements. A transfer system can be integrated with PLCs, sensors, RFID, robots, vision, screwdriving, and safety devices.
Request Conveyor Layout SupportWe evaluate the workpiece, fixture, process stations, load and production sequence before recommending a transfer system.
Our Elcom product range supports small precision components as well as heavier industrial assemblies.
Standard transport, stop, positioning, transfer and lift modules can be combined according to the required production flow.
Conveyors can be combined with Orbital Mekatronikโs sensors, measurement products, PLCs, HMIs, robots and machine-safety devices.
We support machine builders, system integrators and manufacturers developing new equipment or upgrading existing production lines.
Orbital Mekatronik serves industrial customers across India and supports selected international requirements from its facility near Mumbai.
